inbetween identities
"young bauhaus" is a group of young people who meets once a week to discuss the art, materials and history of the Bauhaus. With their new exhibition "young bauhaus.in between identities", they present the results of their artistic investigation for the first time. The project highlights their identity as a group and the diverse identities of all who participate in this open forum. The artworks explore a myriad of Bauhaus-related themes, e.g. Oskar Schlemmer’s “Triadic Ballet”, copper spirals, fashion design and trash. But most of all, they express ideas that inspire young people today and demonstrate how the Bauhaus continues to promote courage, experimentation and self-discovery.
